Today the girls made Marshmallow Molecules, an idea found in the Chemistry Pre-Level 1 book by
Real Science 4 Kids....
Abi made a model of four Oxygen atoms and
one Silicon atom (what rocks are made of)....
They had fun building random molecules of various shapes & sizes....
Sodium, Oxygen and Hydrogen --
a DANGEROUS chemical!
Aly's water molecule -- Two Hydrogen atoms and one Oxygen atom....

Great way to make science fun and yummy!
What a fun project- and yummy too.
My kids would be all over that -- they love marshmallows. Now I know what I need to use to make chemistry fun.
